Sie finden keine Anwendung bei Hubkolbenverdichtern von Copeland oder Scroll-Verdichtern anderer Hersteller. Scroll-Verdichter haben einen sehr hohen volumetrischen Wirkungsgrad und erzeugen schnell eine Evakuierung, wenn sich im System nicht genügend Kühlmittel befindet oder wenn das Kühlmittel zu langsam zugefügt wird.
