11.1 Connections connectors

Two-pole screw connector.
Set ex factory as eBus connector; after modifying parameter 8 in
the Settings menu, also suitable as OpenTherm connector (see
§11.3). Only suitable for low voltage

Connector X14 for connecting postheater
Two-pole screw connector (accessible after taking off display
cover).
Ex factory this connector is not activated; after changing para-
meter 13 in the settings menu of "0" to "1" (preheater) or "2"
(postheater), this connector can be used for connecting the pos-
theater or preheater
Maximum rated power is 1000W.
Note: The postheater temperature sensor must also be con-
nected to X15-7 and X15-8.
For the Plus version, use the additionally mounted pull relief in
the display cover to feed the 230 V cable to the postheater.

Nine-pole screw connector
Connection Application
1 & 2 External switch contact; for activation put para-
meter 18 to 1 (see §11.6)
or
for conversion to 0-10 V input, put parameter 15
to "ON" (see §11.7).
(X15-1 = GND & X15-2 = 0-10V)
3 & 4
(X15-3 = GND & X15-4 = 0-10V)

for conversion to external switch contact,
