9 - ENTER KEY

The key function is used for two functions.
CLEARING DISPLAY
The first function is used to clear any torque reading on the display. When the
reading to the RS 232 port for printing or downloading to an application program. After sending the data, the readings will
automatically be cleared from the display.
VALIDATING SET-UPS
The other function is the validation of user selection during set-ups (see "LANGUAGE SELECTION", "MODE SELECTION",
"UNIT SELECTION" and "FILTER SELECTION").

10 - LANGUAGE SELECTION

1. Turn on the ALPHA unit and wait for initialization to complete.
2. Press for 3 or 4 seconds, then press
3. ENGLISH will flash on the display.
4. Press until you find the desired language.
5. Press twice. The unit is now set to the desired language.

11 - MODE SELECTION

The ALPHA Digital Torque Tester offers two different modes of displaying
torque information during operation: Track and Peak. The user will determine
which mode is best suited for the application. The use of the two modes is
described below.
TRACK
This mode constantly tracks increasing or decreasing torque
variations. Use this mode to monitor varying torque on motors
and machinery. Also for calibration and testing of dial torque
products (small wrenches or dial screwdrivers).
