Connect the star handle (1) onto the spindle.
■
Move the variable volume to the middle position with the set-
■
screw (9). This will allow you to make the best possible use of
the pre-set pressure fine adjustment (for increasing and
reducing the pressure).
Use the star handle (1) to turn the spindle (or both spindles for
■
the C1361) counterclockwise back as far as the spindle(s) will go
without exerting any great force. This makes full use of the
stroke.
Check the pump to make certain the filling level is adequate.
■
To do this, first open one of the test connections (7) in the
distributor block and turn the low-pressure spindle (2) slowly
clockwise. If the filling medium becomes visible in the opened
test connection while you do this and no air bubbles escape,
then the low-pressure piston is sufficiently filled. If air bubbles
do escape, however, you must top-up the filling medium as
described under section 4.3.
