Generate a pressure as described in section 4.1 or 4.2, but no
■
greater than the lowest maximum permissible pressure of the
parts in use.
If the required pressure has still not been reached, close the
■
shut-off valve (E) on the test specimen.
Open the valve (B) on the storage container (A) and turn the
■
pump spindle(s) counterclockwise with the star handle as far as
it (they) will go.
Close valve (B) on the storage container (A).
■
Open the shut-off valve (E) on the test specimen.
■
Generate a pressure (no greater than the lowest maximum
■
permissible of the parts in use). See sections 4.1 and 4.2.
Repeat the process described here until the required pressure is
■
reached.
