Before you start
Throttle linkage and ignition leads
Cutting attachment to drive shaft installation

Pull flexible drive shaft coupler 51 - 76 mm (2 -3 inches) out
of drive shaft assembly.
3.
Align flexible drive shaft coupler with engine socket and slide
together.
4.
Tighten clamping bolts.

Close choke and remove air filter cover.
2.
Place inner throttle cable in large hole of carburettor swivel
(A).
3.
Loosen nuts (B) and place threaded end of throttle linkage in
bracket slot. Finger tighten nuts (B).
4.
Check throttle for freedom of movement and that wide open
throttle / low idle extremes are adjusted properly. If adjust-
ment cannot be achieved with adjusting nuts (B), consult
with your dealer for correct adjustment procedure. Tighten
nuts (B).
5.
Connect two ignition stop leads (C,D) from throttle cable tub-
ing to two ignition leads (C,D) on engine.
6.
Gather ignition wires and position in clip (E) behind air filter
case.
7.
Install air filter and cover.

Loosen the two screws (C) and locator screw (D) on cutting
attachment.
