MONTAGE- UND BETRIEBSVORSCHRIFT
Zur Sicherstellung einer einwandfreien Funktion und zur eigenen Sicherheit
sind alle nachstehenden Vorschriften genau durchzulesen und zu beach-
ten. Die Montage- und Betriebsvorschrift jedes Ventilators ist nach der
Montage aufzubewahren.
Diese Montage- und Betriebsvorschrift gilt für folgende Produkte:
KVD 225/4/50/25 Ex, KVD 250/4/50/30 Ex,
KVD 280/4/60/30 Ex, KVD 315/4/60/35 Ex,
KVD 355/6//70/40 Ex.
EMPFANG
Die Sendung sofort bei Anlieferung auf Be schä di gun gen und Typenrichtigkeit
prüfen. Falls Schäden vorliegen, umgehend Schadensmeldung unter Hin­
zu ziehung des Transportunternehmens veranlassen. Bei nicht fristgerechter
Reklamation gehen evtl. An sprüche verloren.
TRANSPORT
Alle Ventilatoren sind werkseitig so verpackt, dass sie gegen normale Transport­
belastungen geschützt sind. Verwenden Sie geeignetes Hebematerial beim
Transport der Geräte, um Schäden an Personen und Material zu vermei­
den. Transportieren Sie die Geräte nicht am Anschlusskabel, am Klemmen­
kasten, am Laufrad oder an der Einströmdüse. Vermeiden Sie Belastungen
durch Schläge und Stöße.
EINLAGERUNG
Bei Einlagerung über längeren Zeitraum sind zur Ver hin derung schädlicher
Einwirkungen folgende Maß nahmen zu treffen: Schutz des Motors durch tro­
ckene, luft­ und staubdichte Verpackung (Ku nst stoff beutel mit Trockenmittel
und Feuchtigkeits in di ka to ren). Der Lager ort muss erschütterungsfrei, wasserge­
schützt und frei von Temperatur schwan kun gen sein.
Bei mehrjähriger Lagerung bzw. Motorstillstand muss vor Inbetriebnahme eine
Inspektion der Lager und ggf. ein Lageraustausch durchgeführt werden. Zu­
sätzlich ist eine elektrische Prüfung nach VDE 0701 bzw. VDE 0530/EN 60034
durchzuführen. Bei Weiterversand (vor allem über längere Distanzen) ist zu prü­
fen, ob die Verpackung für Transportart und ­weg geeignet ist. Schäden, de­
ren Ursache in unsachgemäßem Trans port, Einlagerung oder Inbetriebnahme
liegen, sind nach weis bar und unterliegen nicht der Gewähr lei stung.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE UND
EINSATZBEREICH
­ Die Ventilatoren erfüllen die Sicherheitsanforderungen gemäß
ATEX 2014/34/EU und entsprechen der ISO 14694, Kategorie BV­2,
BV­3 und ISO 1940 Qualitätsfaktor G 6.3.
­ Normen: EN 60079­0:2006, EN 13463­1 und EN 14986:2007.
­ Die Ventilatoren sind für den Transport von Gasen in explosiver Umgebung
geeignet.
­ Die Ventilatoren dürfen nicht an einen Rauchgaskanal angeschlossen wer­
den.
­ Die Ventilatoren werden von Drehstrommotoren
(3­phasig) angetrieben.
­ Die Ventilatoren sind für Dauerbetrieb S1 bemessen.
­ Die Ventilatoren dürfen nicht im Freien aufgestellt werden.
­ Die Ventilatoren dürfen nur in Zone 1 oder 2 betrieben werden und sind nicht
Zonen getrennt, das heißt, dass die Zonen im Förderstrom und Umgebung
gleich zu setzen sind.
­ Bei Ex­Ventilatoren liegt die zulässige Temperatur des Fördermediums sowie
der Umgebung zwischen ­ 20 °C und +40 °C.
­ Die Ventilatoren dürfen nicht zur Förderung von festen oder flüssigen Medien
OPERATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For safety it is absolutely necessary that the following instructions are tho-
roughly read and observed. It is strongly recommended that the operation
manual be kept in a safe place once the fan has been installed.
This directions for use contains following products:
KVD 225/4/50/25 Ex, KVD 250/4/50/30 Ex,
KVD 280/460/30 Ex, KVD 315/4/60/35 Ex,
KVD 355/6//70/40 Ex.
RECEIPT
Please check delivery immediately on receipt for accuracy and damage. If
damaged, please notify carrier immediately. In case of delayed notification, any
possible claim may be void.
TRANSPORTATION
All fans are packaged at the factory to withstand normal transport handling.
When handling the goods use suitable lifting equipment in order to avoid da­
mage to fans and personnel. Do not lift the fans by the mains cable, connection
box, and impeller or inlet cone. Avoid blows and shock loads.
STORAGE
When storing for a prolonged time the following steps are to be taken to avoid
damaging influences: sealing of bare parts with anticorrosion agent; protection
of motor by dry, air­ and dustproof packing (plastic bags with drying agent and
moisture indicators).
The storage place must be water proof, vibration­free and free of temperature
variations.
When storing for several years or non rotation of motor an inspection of the
bearings with possible relubrication and an electrical inspection to VDE 0701
and VDE 0530/EN 60034 are absolutely necessary before starting operation.
When transshipping (especially over longer distances) check if the packing is
adequate for method and manner of transportation.
Damages due to improper transportation, storage or putting into operation are
not liable for warranty.
SECURITY AND APPLICATION
­ The fans are certified according to ATEX 2014/34/EU and comply with ISO
14694, category BV­2, BV­3 and ISO 1940 quality factor G 6.3.
­ Standards: EN 60079­0:2006, EN 13463­1 and EN 14986:2007.
­ The fans are adapted to transport gas in explosion environment.
­ The fans must not be connected to a flue gas duct.
­ The fans are powered by short­circuit 3­phase motor.
­ The fans should be operating continuously S1.
­ The fans must not be installed outside.
­ The fans can only be used in zone 1 or 2 and are not zone separating, i.e.
transported air and ambient air of the fan must be in the same zone.
­ The fans environmental temperature and the temperature of the media that is
transported must be in the interval of ­20 °C to +40 °C.
­ The fans must not be used to transport media (compact or liquid) that can
establish sediments or corrosiveness on the impeller, motor or housing.
­ Rust particles are not to occur in the airflow.
­ The fan can be installed vertically or horizontally.
­ At speed regulation the fans can be run by a transformer with a voltage of 25%
up to 100% (100 V­400 V) of the rated voltage. If the transformer is installed in
the same zone as the fan, it must have the similar ATEX classification.
­ The fans cannot be electronic regulated or regulated with a frequency
converter.
­ The fans must be connected electrically via a resetting proof vertical discharge
with a contact clearance of at least 3 mm/pole.
OPERATION AS ROOM VENTILATION DEVICE
In order to achieve the desired fan performance a systematic air supply is
imperative. When using fire places with chimneys in ventilated rooms, there
must be an adequate supply of intake air under any operational condition.
PERFORMANCE DATA
– Electrical data
The motor rating plate provides information on the electrical data and must be
examined for conformity to the local requirements.
– Air data
The fan performances were determined on a test stand according to DIN
24163; they are valid for free suction and discharge (straight ducting 2x lenght
of casing). Deviating execution and adverse installation­ and operation con­
ditions can lead to a reduction of performance.
