(e) The bowl assembly can then be re-installed into the casting
body, by inserting the bowl straight UP into the body, and then
rotate clockwise (viewed from below).
Models MSD-XX-KB1X and MSD-XX-KB2X:
Refer to number 3 on page 1 to remove bowl from body.
(a) There is an adapter that is secured to the bowl by 4 (ea) M5 x
0.8 x 20 button socket head cap screws. Remove the screws to
allow separation of the adapter from the bowl. The adapter is
sealed by an o-ring to the I.D. of the bowl, so turning or twisting
the adapter may facilitate removal. After the adapter is sepa-
rated from the bowl, the membrane module is removed
as follows:
(b) To replace bottom plate O-ring, and to facilitate replacement
of lower module to bowl O-ring, carefully remove the internal
retaining ring, using the proper tool. Use a long wooden dowel
or a hammer handle to tap the bottom plate out of the bowl
from the inside. The lower O-ring can now be replaced.

CAUTION! When re-installing the bottom plate, the internal
retaining ring MUST BE securely seated in its mating groove in
the bowl, below the bottom plate. Failure to do so could cause
air pressure to blow the bottom plate off the bowl, causing seri-
ous personal injury or death.
(c) Remove the membrane module from the bowl by pulling the
module straight out of the top of the bowl. There are O-rings
sealing the outside diameter of the module to the inside diam-
eter of the bowl. Turning or twisting the module while pulling
upward may facilitate removal.
(d) To install a new membrane module, place a VERY LIGHT FILM of
grease on the outside diameter of the plastic end caps of the
module, taking care not to contaminate the ends of the mod-
ule with grease.
(e) Insert the module into the bowl with a turning or twisting
motion, taking care not to damage the O-rings that seal the
module to the bowl. Do not grasp the center tube of the mem-
brane with any tool that may damage or deform the tube.
WHEN PROPERLY INSTALLED, THE MODULE BOTTOMS OUT
AGAINST THE BOWL BOTTOM PLATE.
(f) Re-install the bowl to body adapter by twisting in the adapter
and aligning the four screw holes. Re-install the four M5 x 0.8 x
20 button socket head cap screws and initially hand tighten to
snug in an even pattern. Then tighten screws to 3-5 ft-lbs, using
this sequence:

(g) The bowl assembly can then be re-installed into the casting

On all models, it is recommended that you replace all
O-rings in the unit at the time you replace the membrane mod-
ule. When servicing the unit, take care not to twist, pinch
or cut O-rings.

Avant de mettre le dispositif sous pression, veiller à toujours faire
en sorte que le godet soit bien inséré dans le bâti et tourné pour
être solidement fixé. La sourdine d'épuration de l'air doit être cor-
rectement installée et fixée à l'aide de la vis d'arrêt. Lorsque le
godet est correctement installé, la marque sur la sourdine d'épu-
ration de l'air s'aligne avec celle située sur le moulage du bâti.
Négliger de procéder ainsi peut pousser la pression de l'air à
faire exploser le godet du dispositif, ce qui entraînerait des lésions
physiques graves, ou mortelle.
Par ailleurs, consulter aussi les autres avertissements et
mises en garde, ainsi que la garantie, à la dernière page
de ce feuillet d'installation et d'entretien.
Description
Les sécheurs à membrane Wilkerson sont conçus pour éliminer la
vapeur d'eau de systèmes d'air comprimé. On peut atteindre un
point de rosée à pression atmosphérique descendant jusqu'à

lorsqu'on fait fonctionner le dispositif en respectant la classe de
spécifications de l'appareil (le point de rosée est classé à 6,9 bars
(100 psig) de pression à l'aspiration).

NE DÉPASSEZ PAS les classements de pression et de température

Veillez à ce que la sourdine d'épuration de l'air soit
correctement installée et la vis d'arrêt solidement fixée avant
de mettre le système d'air sous pression.
NE CHERCHEZ PAS à retirer le godet ou l'appareil en service

Le Super sécheur à membrane est un dispositif de nature simple.
Dépourvu de toute partie mobile, il ne demande aucun réglage.
La cadence d'épuration (aspiration de l'air) est réglée au préala-
ble à l'intérieur du module membrane, au moyen d'un orifice fixe.
Aucun réglage n'est nécessaire, aucune condition d'alimentation
électrique n'existe.
