® Connect the connection of the 2nd
stage coil (1, fig. 8), already present
in the burner using the connection
assembly (2) supplied, observing
the following procedure.
- Cut both the cables (3 - 4), and
use the jacks (5) to join the wires
of the second stage coil to the
4 pin socket connection (2).
- Connect the connector (6) to posi-
tion ( V2 , fig. 2 page 1) of the con-
trol box.
In conclusion, make the rest of the

connections to the control box.

CONTROL BOX VISUAL DIAGNOSTICS

The control box features a diagnostics function through which any causes of malfunctioning can be identi-
fied (indicator: RED LED ).
To use this function, you must press and hold the reset button for at least 3 seconds once it has entered the
safety condition ( lockout ).
The control box generates a sequence of led pulses, which is repeated at constant 2-second intervals.

The sequence of led pulses issued by the control box identifies the possible types of malfunction, which are
listed in the table below.

To reset the control box after visual diagnostics have been displayed, you must press

the reset button.

The flame does not stabilise at the end of the safety time:
√ flame detector defective or dirty;
√ oil valve defective or dirty;
√ faulty ignition transformer;
√ badly regulated burner.
Light present in the chamber before the burner»s switching on or off:
√ presence of a strange light before or after the limit thermostat switching over;
√ presence of a strange light during pre-purging;
√ presence of a strange light during post-purging.
Loss of flame during operation:
√ badly regulated burner;
√ oil valve defective or dirty;
√ flame detector defective or dirty;
Check and control of the oil heater (if there is one):
√ faulty control thermostat or heater.
