Preparations before using for the first time
Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your supplier
immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
Remove all the packing material.
Clean the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
Level the appliance.
Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
Operation
Plug the appliance into the main socket.
On /off button on left side of the appliance.
Place the food inside the container and place it on the base. Close the lid firmly. Make sure the
safety mechanism on the lid is placed above the tube on the appliance.
ATTENTION! Without a the lid closed the appliance will not work.
On/Off button on the console lets the appliance run on the pre-determined speed.
ATTENTION! When the food has reached the desired thickness, turn of the appliance. Do not let
the appliance run unnecessary, this can damage the appliance..
Pulse button for a short and powerful boost. Pulse function is always on maximum speed.
Once the desired results have been reached, turn off the appliance by pushing the Off button on
the console.
Should the appliance not be used for a longer period, press the Off button on the left side of the
appliance and remove the plug from the main socket.
The appliance will automatically shut down when the container is removed from it's base. To re-
activate the appliance, place the container on it's base and press the On/Off button.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do
not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if necessary. Do not use
abrasive materials.
The container is NOT dishwasher proof.
To clean the blenders container, pour water and a commercially-available washing-up liquid into
the mixer unit, place the cover and cap on the container and run the appliance for 10-20 seconds
(depending on how filthy the product is) at maximum speed. Then switch of the appliance, remove
the container from the base, empty and rinse with clean water. Invert the container and allow it to
drip dry, or dry with a soft cloth.
ATTENTION! Make sure the bottom of the container stays dry at all times!
