7 Basic operation

7.1 Switching the radio on/off

To turn on your Transita 320, press the On / Standby button.
The radio is now in the last selected operating mode.
To turn it off, press the On / Standby button again. The time appears on the display.
If you are switching on the Transita 320 for the first time, a complete station scan is
started via DAB+ and then the first station in the list is played.

7.2 Menu navigation

In order to make advanced settings, or to modify existing ones, it is usually necessary to do this
via the menu. However, some settings can also be accessed directly via the remote control.
To enter the menu, briefly press and hold the MENU button on the unit or press the MENU
button on the remote control. To navigate through the menu, press the SKIP/TUNING button on
the unit or the up / down arrow button on the remote control. To activate / save a function or
option, press the ENTER button. To go back one step, press the MENU button again.
Please note that not all options are available in all modes.
To exit the menu without selection, wait a moment or press the MENU button repeatedly.
The following operations in the manual are explained using the buttons on the remote
control.

7.3 Adjusting the volume

To change the volume, turn the volume knob. Turn it to the right to increase the volume

and to the left to decrease the volume.
> Alternatively, press the volume +/- buttons on the remote control.
Press the MUTE button to mute the sound. Press the button again to restore the sound.
