for fan unit equipment should
not be exceeded typically this
will be within -20°C to +40°C,
unless stated otherwise.
• This fan unit must not be used
in explosive or corrosive at-
mospheres.
• If the fan unit is to extract air
from premises where a boiler
or other combustion applian-
ce is installed, make sure that
the room has suffi cient air
intakes to assure adequate
combustion.
• This appliance can be used
by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if
they have been given super-
vision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Chil-
dren shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be
made by children without su-
pervision.

SAFETY DURING INSTALLATION

Fan unit equipment should be electrically
isolated and locked out before any work
started.
• The Installer, User is responsible for ensu-
ring that the fan unit is installed, operated
and serviced by qualifi ed personnel, acting
in accordance with all safety precautions
applicable and as required by law, regula-
tions and standards in the country appli-
cable.
• Safety protective clothing, equipment,
hearing protection, and tools may be re-
quired.
• Before any installation work is started,
ensure that fan unit equipment is correct
for application. Location for installation is
solid, level, fl at and suitable for mounting
fan unit assembly.
• Fan unit should be located in position, and
assembled with any accessory equipment
supplied, on relevant mounting, antivibra-
tion mountings, safety protection guards,
on a solid level base to avoid any distor-
tion and misalignment and with correct
air direction as shown on nameplate. Fan
unit should then be levelled on any anti-
vibration mountings. Flexible connectors
must be taught to ensure no disruption to
air fl ow, especially on inlet to fan unit.
• Make sure there are no loose elements
near the fan unit. When the fan unit is
mounted in a duct, check that it is clean
of any elements and exclusively used for
ventilation system.
• The electrical installation must include a
double pole switch with a contact clearan-
ce of at least 3 mm, correctly sized and in
accordance with the electrical standards
of the country of installation.
• For electrical connections follow the wi-
ring diagram "A" indicated in this manual.
The fan unit classifi ed as Residential Venti-
lation Unit with control factor 0,65 have to
