8. Use of the Mains Adapter

This radio includes a matching mains adapter.
• Put the radio on a flat underground.
• Connect the mains adapter cable to the direct current input on the left side of the radio.
• Plug the mains adapter into a mains socket. When the mains adapter is connected to the radio, the radio will always
be supplied with power via the mains adapter, and not via the batteries/rechargeable batteries.
The mains adapter should be pulled from the outlet when the radio is not in use.
The mains adapter is used to connect the radio to the mains. The mains outlet must remain ac-
cessible at all times during operation. To disconnect the device from the mains, pull the mains
adapter from the outlet completely.

9. Key Lock

The key lock prevents inadvertent key operations.
• Switch the key lock at the side of the radio to the „Lock" position. The on/off switch and all other buttons are locked
to prevent inadvertent operation of the buttons when your radio is in a case or a travelling bag.
• To revoke the key lock, push the switch back to „Unlock".
