10. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician. The
safety instructions in force in the local company must be respected. The
author of the project and the installer are responsible for the correct sizing
of the cables used according to the expected total power.
Danger! All work must be done with power off. Wait five
minutes after disconnecting the voltage at all poles before
touching the device. The mains voltage and frequency must
match the data of the motor. Use flexible cables only adequately
protected against exposure to the elements and to UV radiation
(the cover can be opened for overhauls).
For the electrical connection of the fan, it is possible to use the cable
grommets built into the base.
In addition to the connection of the device to the mains voltage (connec-
tion terminals in the cable box), the electrician must also ensure that the
lightning protection and equipotential bonding of the ventilation unit are
guaranteed. The ventilation unit is then immediately ready to operate with
the preset parameters.
· Untighten the four screws of the protective grill so you can take it off
the ventilation unit (

· Loosen the cable gland on the ventilation unit and pass through the
cable as shown in the picture (
· Perforate the cable outlet with a tool corresponding to the cable
diameter at the position shown (
The diameter of the opening in the cable box has to be smaller
than the diameter of the cable. If the diameter of the cable box
is created too wide, protection against damage due to damp
cannot be guaranteed.
· Connect the cables according to the diagram of the terminals (
· Tighten the cable gland by hand. Make sure that there is no tension on
the cable inside of the ventilation unit.
· Close the cable box by pressing down the top cover until it clicks into
place.
· Place the protective grill on the ventilation unit and tighten the four
screws (

10. RACCORDEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE
Le raccordement électrique doit être effectué par un électricien agréé. Les
consignes de sécurité en vigueur dans l'entreprise locale de distribution
doivent impérativement être respectées. L'auteur du projet et l'installateur
sont responsables du bon dimensionnement des câbles utilisés par rap-
port à la puissance totale attendue.
Danger! Tous les travaux doivent être effectués hors
tension. Ne touchez pas l'appareil avant cinq minutes après
avoir débranché tous les pôles. La tension du réseau et la
fréquence doivent concorder avec les données du moteur.
N'utilisez que des câbles flexibles qui offrent une protection
appropriée contre les expositions aux intempéries et les rayons
UV (le capot est ouvrable à des fins de révision).
Pour le raccordement électrique du ventilateur, il est possible d'utiliser le
passage de câbles intégré dans le socle.
Lors de la connexion de l'unité de ventilation à la source d'alimentation
principale, l'électricien doit assurer la protection contre la foudre ainsi que
la connexion equipotentielle de l'unité de ventilation. L'unité de ventilation
est alors déjà prête à fonctionner avec les paramètres préréglés.
· Desserrez les quatre vis de fixation de la plaque de recouvrement
retirez-la. Retirez le couvercle de la boîte de câbles. (
· Desserrez le passe-câble avec le contrôle-commande à l'unité de
ventilation et faites passer le câble (
· Perforez la boîte de câble avec un outil correspondant au diamètre du
câble au point indiqué. (
Le diamètre de l'orifice de boîte du câble est inférieur au
diamètre du câble, sinon l'étanchéité à l'humidité n'est pas
garantie.

· Connectez les câbles conformément au schéma de raccordement(
· Serrer le presse-étoupe à la main. Assurez-vous qu'il n'y a pas de
tension sur le câble à l'intérieur de l'unité de ventilation.
· Fermez la boîte de câble en laissant le couvercle s'enclencher sur la
boîte.
· Placez la plaque de recouvrement sur l'unité de ventilation et vissez-la
fermement (
