• Handle the equipment with care. Temperature and humidity variations must not
exceed the maximum or minimum operating values indicated in these instruc-
tions booklet.
• For a correct measurement of temperature and humidity levels, do not place
the equipment near direct sources of heat (i.e.: radiators, gas or electric rings,
windows exposed to direct sunlight, etc.)
• Do not submerge or wet the equipment.
• Place the equipment only on flat, stable surfaces, or hang it on the wall.
• Check that the ventilation openings are always unobstructed.
• Do not use this equipment outdoors.
• Do not attempt to open the equipment.
• In case of anomalous operation, contact a qualified technician or one of Artsana
S.p.A.'s authorised retailers.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
FITTING AND/OR REPLACING BATTERIES
This equipment requires 2 x "AA" 1.5 Volt alkaline type batteries (not included in
the package).
To fit/replace spent batteries: Loosen the screw (7) on the battery compartment
cover (6) with a Philips head screwdriver and open the cover. Then, remove the
spent batteries and fit 2 x "AA" 1.5 Volt alkaline type batteries, ensuring that they
have been fitted in the correct polarity. Close the battery cover, and tighten the
screw (7).
The thermal hygrometer will switch on immediately.
When the batteries are spent, the specific signal
indicating that the batteries must be replaced as soon as possible.
Warnings:
• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult. Always keep batteries and tools out of
reach of children.
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recom-
mended for the correct function of this product.
