• Never mix new and old batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Always remove spent batteries from the product to avoid the danger of possible
leakage from the battery damaging the product or other objects placed nearby.
• In the case of leakage, replace the batteries immediately, taking care to clean the
battery compartment and to wash your hands, if they have come into contact
with the battery liquid.
• Always remove the batteries if the equipment will not be used for a long period
of time.
• Remove the batteries from the equipment before disposal.
• Do not burn or dispose of spent batteries into the environment. Dispose of them
at an appropriate differentiated collection point.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries they might explode.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries as this could affect the functioning of the
product.
• The equipment is not designed for use with lithium batteries. CAUTION. Improper
use could be dangerous.
The ideal value of relative humidity is between 50% and 55%, and, in any case, it
should not be lower than 40% or higher than 60%.
When the ideal value of relative humidity is lower than 40% or higher than 60%,
the value indicated on the display flashes and, approximately every 20 seconds,
the monitor emits a brief red flashing light. When the value of relative humidity is
lower than 20% or higher than 95%, the display shows the writing "LO" or "HI",
respectively.
Temperature Display
The lower display of the equipment shows room temperature in C°.
The measuring range is from approximately 0°C up to 40°C, with 1°C resolution.
Apart from the numeric indication, the equipment also has a graphic scale, from
0°C to 40°C, subdivided in 8 segments of 5°C each. When the segments in the
green area switch on, room temperature is within a range of 16°C and 25°C.
Room temperature should be kept between 18°C and 20°C, and, in any case, it
should not be lower than 16°C or higher than 25°C.
When it is lower than 16°C or higher than 25°C, the value indicated on the display
