Implant Restorations
1.
Prepare the implant abutment per manufacturer's instructions.
2.
If needed, clean the abutment and air dry.
3.
Seat the restoration to ensure proper fit. After try-in and occlusal adjustment, thoroughly clean the bonding
surface of the restoration.
4.
Select the desired shade of Maxcem Elite Chroma.
5.
Follow the steps 7 – 12 in the "Cementation" section for crowns above.
Veneer Restorations
For cementation of veneers (ideal for 1-2 units at a time), an adhesive must first be applied to the tooth. For best
results, select OptiBond™ Solo Plus† Adhesive or OptiBond XTR†† Self-Etch Universal Adhesive. Consult adhesive
product instructions for use.
After adhesive is applied and cured, follow the instructions for cementation:
1.
Select the desired shade of cement.
2.
Remove the syringe cap. Before the first use, bleed the syringe by squeezing out a small quantity of pastes from
each side onto a pad to equalize the base and catalyst paste in the syringe. Secure the appropriate automix tip
on the dual syringe cartridge by turning the tip clockwise.
