ATTENTION: The backwashing process may not be interrupted. Check if there is
sufficient amount of water before start of the backwashing. For manual control the
filtration device is furnished with six-way valve which is designed for required flow
amount.
Instructions for use for six-way valve
ATTENTION: The valve position can be changed only when the filtration unit is
switched off. Push the lever downwards and turn it in the required setting.
The following types of setting are possible:
1. FILTRATION
2. RINSING
3. CIRCULATION
4. BACKWASHING
5. CLOSED
6. WASTE
7. WINTERIZING
ATTENTION: The valve lever must not be used for movement of filtration vessel, it
could brake.

Maintenance

Gradual accumulation of impurities in the filtration sand fill increases its resistance.
If the pressure value (follow the pressure gauge) in the filtration vessel grows buy
approximately 0,2
• 0,3 bar above the original level, backwashing is necessary. Note pressure level at
the beginning of each filtration cycle.
NOTE: With a view of observance of hygienic conditions and efficiency optimisation
the backwashing must be carried out no matter how long the operation time is or
pressure load increase at least each 8 days due to hygienic reasons. If the pressure
load grows, the backwashing must be performed more frequently.
Change of sand fill
Absorption capacity of sand fill to capture impurities completely rests in coarseness
of sand particular grains which are gradually brushed during the filtering.
In order to maintain maximum filtering effect we recommend to change the sand
fill before each or every second season.
* If the stop-cocks are not used, water will flow our of the pump open suction.

Flow of water from the pool in flow direction through
filtration vessel and back to the pool.
Flow of water from the pool in flow direction through the
filtration vessel either to waste pipe or pump sump.
Water flow from the pool and back without filtration.
Up stream water flow from the pool through filtration
vessel either to waste pipe of pump sump.
All the outlets are closed, water is not circulating.
Water flow without filtration to the waste pipe or pump
sump.
Without function, the position is used when the filtration is
out of operation and for safe winterizing.
