Application
Can be used in conjunction with:
• Pressurised storage heaters
• Thermally controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with low-pressure displacement water heaters is not
possible.

Note:
All Grohe single-hole mixers with pull-out spouts are equiped with
non-return valves.
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Prepare sink
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Fit mixer on sink
Mixer body
For mounting purposes, you will need only a 13mm socket
spanner, see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].
Note:
If the support plate (A) is omitted, the clamping length may be
increased by 15mm.
Spout
1. Fit O-ring (B), see Fig. [3].
2. Insert hose guide into sink.
3. Fit support plate (C), if necessary, with washer (D) and connect
nut (E) with tube (G). To do this, insert fitting key (H) into tube (G)
and turn fitting key clockwise to fasten hose guide.
(Tube may also have to be turned with an 22mm open-ended
spanner.)
Note:
If there is no need to fit support plate (C), clamping length may be
increased by 15mm.
Connect spray hose (J), see Figs. [4] to [7].
To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Fit spray hose (J) through spout (K), see Fig. [4].
2. Fit spray hose (J) from above through mixer body and fit
spout (K) so that it snaps into place, see Fig. [5].
3. With shower head (M) in position, fit spring (L) onto spray
hose (J) from below, see Fig. [6].
4. Screw snap coupling (N) with O-ring (N1) onto spray hose (J).
5. Push the sleeve (N2) of the snap coupling (N) downwards and fit
the snap coupling to the coupling nipple (O).
For correct shower head (M) seating, make sure that shower head
cams (M1) engage into spout groove (K1), see Fig. [7].
Connect sink mixer
With an open-ended spanner 19mm the flexible connectors must
be connected to the service valves, see Figs. [1] and [2].
Open service valves.
Check unions for leaks.

Flow rate limiter

This mixer is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an in-finitely
individual variable limiting of the flow rate.
The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with hydraulic
instantaneous water heaters is not recommended.
For commissioning see "replacing the cartridge" point 1 to 4,
Fig. [9] to [11].

Maintenance

Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease with
special grease (order no. 18 012).
Shut off cold and hot water supply!
I. Replacing the cartridge
1. Strip lever lower part (P), see Fig. [9].
2. Loosen set screw (R) using a 3mm socket spanner,
see Fig. [10].
3. Pull off lever (S).
4. Unscrew cap (T).
5. Screw out screws (U) and remove cartridge assy (V).
6. Change complete cartridge (V).
Assemble in the reverse order.
Care must be taken to ensure that the seals in the cartridge
engage the grooves in the body. Install screws (U) and tighten
evenly and alternately.
II. Unscrew and clean aerator (13 952), see fold-out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
