1. Scrub the attachments thoroughly using a
soft brush and a mild detergent. Remove all
traces of blood and debris.
2. Make sure the fitting is cleaned thoroughly
to prevent debris from interfering with
moveable parts.
3. Rinse the attachment under a running
faucet to remove soap. Shake free of
water and dry thoroughly with a clean, lint-
free towel.
4. Place one drop of oil into the fitting.
Sterilization
This device is provided nonsterile and must
be cleaned and sterilized before use, including
initial use.
This product should be steam sterilized;
ethylene oxide sterilization is not
recommended.
CAUTION: Prior to sterilization, thoroughly
clean the product according to the specified
procedure to minimize the microbial challenge
to the sterilization process.
The following sterilization cycles, when tested
under controlled conditions in a properly
maintained and calibrated sterilizer, were
shown to sterilize the product effectively in
a wrapped condition.

(143°C) may damage the instrument.
CAUTION: After sterilization, allow
instruments and hoses to cool before using.
Do not immerse the instrument in liquid to
cool. Cooling by immersion will damage
the instrument.
