4. GENERAL FLYING TIPS:
• Always place the helicopter on a fl at surface. An uneven surface may affect the helicopter's take-off.
• Always move the controls slowly and gently.
• Always look at the helicopter and not at the controller!
• As soon as the helicopter leaves the ground, lower the throttle stick slightly. Adjust the throttle as
necessary to maintain altitude.
• Gently push the throttle stick up if the helicopter loses altitude.
• Gently push the throttle stick down if the helicopter gains altitude.
• To turn the helicopter, the direction stick usually only needs to be moved very slightly in the
corresponding direction. Most fi rst-time fl yers initially tend to over-steer. Always handle the direction
stick slowly and gently. Avoid fast and jerky movements.
• After adjusting trimming settings, beginners should practice using the throttle stick correctly. There is
no need to keep the helicopter fl ying straight at the start – it is more important that you learn how to
maintain a constant altitude of about 1 metre above the ground by slightly moving the throttle stick.
Once you are able to do this, move on to practicing fl ying to the left and right.
• After a crash, always immediately push the throttle stick down
• Avoid exposing the helicopter to direct sunlight or bright spotlights while fl ying. This can cause malfunctions in the IR remote control.
• Avoid covering or blocking the helicopter's infrared receiver and the remote controller's infrared transmitter. If the receiver or transmitter is covered, the helicopter will be unable to receive signals.
• Do not attach stickers or other labels to the helicopter as these could infl uence the transmission of the infrared signal.
• Two or more of the same helicopter models cannot be fl own using the same infrared band.
If the rotor blades of the helicopter are damaged and you need to replace them, please proceed as follows:
Before installing the blades,
make sure not to get them
confused. The rotor blades
are marked "U" and "L"
(see fi gure). Type "U" rotor
blades are installed on top,
while type "L" rotor blades
are installed below.
Problem:
The rotor blades are not turning.
Problem:
The helicopter stops for no apparent
reason while fl ying and starts to drop.
Problem:
The helicopter goes out of control.
Problem:
The helicopter just rotates left or right
on its own axis.

Safety Tips
5. SUITABLE FLIGHT LOCATIONS:
Choose a location that meets the following criteria:
1. It should be an enclosed space with no wind or draughts. Do not, if possible, fl y in spaces equipped,
for example, with heating or air conditioning systems that cause air movements.
2. The room should be at least 10 metres long, 6 metres wide and 3 metres high.
3. There should be no obstacles in the room (fans, lamps, etc.).
4. Before take-off, ensure that all animals and people, including the pilot, are at least 1-2 metres away
from the helicopter.
5. Always watch the helicopter to prevent it from fl ying into the pilot, other people or animals and
causing injury.
IMPORTANT!
Since 2005, model airplanes and helicopters that can fl y higher than 30 metres must be insured.
Contact your private liability insurer to fi nd out if your new and old models are covered. Ask for written
confi rmation and keep this in a safe place.
Operating Tips
Changing Rotor Blades
1. Use a Phillips head
2. Carefully remove the rotor
(cross-head) screw driver and
blade from the fi xture.
carefully remove the screws
holding the rotor blade.
Safety Tips
Troubleshooting
Cause:
• The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF".
• The battery is too weak or dead.
• The remote controller and helicopter are not
coordinated.
Cause:
• The battery is too weak.
• The infrared connection is interrupted
(e.g. ambient light is too bright).
Cause:
• Another infrared source is disrupting the signal
transmission.
• The transmission of the signal is disrupted by
strong light.
Cause:
• Too much trimming to the left or right, e.g. because
the trim buttons have been held down for too long

3. Carefully insert the new rotor blade in the fi xture and
tighten the screw. Note: Do not screw in too tightly.
There should be a certain amount of tolerance for the
rotor blade.
Solution:
• Set ON/OFF switch to "ON".
• Recharge the battery.
• Move the throttle stick up and down (see p. 7).
Solution:
• Recharge the battery.
• Secure the infrared connection by changing
locations if necessary.
Solution:
• Avoid or deactivate possible infrared sources.
• Fly the helicopter at a different location.
Solution:
• Reset the trimming by touching the trim
controls several times in the opposite direction
(see also p. 7).
