THE PRODUCT
This advanced control offers modern
microprocessor technology for sen-
sitive throttle control and a smooth
voltage output specifically designed
for your LGB locomotives. Features
include:
- 5 amp control (maximum)
- built-in AC/DC conversion for use
with all LGB transformers (AC and
DC)
- dual-range throttle knob ("Center
Off" and "Left Off")
- Boost button with programmable
acceleration
- Stop/Halt button with programma-
ble braking
- LED indicators
- Connectors for wires up to
1.5 mm 2 cross-section
- short circuit protection

INSTALLATION

Caution! This product is not weath-
er-resistant. Protect this product
from moisture.
Caution! Use wires with a cross sec-
tion of at least 0,5 mm
AWG) (e.g., LGB 50160) to connect
this throttle.
- Connect terminals 1 and 2 on the
back of the throttle to the tracks of
your layout (Fig. 1).
- Connect terminals 3 and 4 to an
LGB transformer.
- You can use the 51070 with all LGB
transformers (AC or DC). We rec-
ommend the 5 Amp 50110/50111
AC Transformer, which allows you
to use the full potential of the
51070. You can use a transformer
with an output of less than 5 amps
(e.g., 50080/50081 DC Power
Pack, 1 Amp), but the track current
is limited to the output of the trans-
former. You can use a transformer
with an output of more than 5 amps
(e.g., 50100/50101 JUMBO Power
Pack), but the maximum output of
the throttle is limited to 5 amps.
Wireless Control
Connect the 55055/55056 Wireless
Receiver to the socket on the throttle.
