Wireless Control
You can connect the 55055/55056
Wireless Receiver to the 51070
throttle. Then you can control direc-
tion and speed ("Center Off" mode)
of your trains from anywhere on your
layout, using the 55016 Loco
Remote (with 55050/55051 Wireless
Transmitter). (You can also use the
55015 Universal Remote.)
Overload Protection
The throttle is protected against
short circuits. If a short circuit
occurs, the throttle will switch off.
However, this overload protection
functions only when using a power
supply with an output of 5 amps or
more.
When using an LGB power supply
with an output of less than 5 amps, a
short circuit will trigger the overload
protection of your power pack (see
Power Supply).
Attention! If there is a short circuit or
overload, unplug the power supply
from the house current outlet imme-
diately:
1. Short circuit: Find and remove the
short circuit. Reconnect the power
supply cord. Reset the throttle by
turning the throttle knob to the "Off"
position.
2. Overload: Remove one or more
locos from the track. Reconnect the
power supply cord. Reset the throttle
by turning the throttle knob to the
"Off" position.
Power Supply
Attention! For safety and reliability,
operate this product with LGB power
supplies (transformers and power
packs) only. With other power sup-
plies, the overload protection may
not work. The use of non-LGB power
supplies will void your warranty.
