WirelessDMXOperation
The unit is equipped with an integrated LumenRadio CRMX Flex
wireless DMXmodule. The module can be switched from recei
ver to transmitter state. This gives you variable combinations for
control. The module is compatible to CRMX transmitter/receiver
units from LumenRadio and Wireless Solutions transmitter units
version G3 and G4.
USE WITH EXTERNAL DMX-TRANSMITTER
BattLED AT10.x is in receiver mode. All units in receiver mode
act synchronized to DMXsignal which is transmitted by external
DMXtransmitter.
• To use BattLED AT10.x in wireless DMXmode it is important
to choose the corresponding transmitter/receiver mode from
the lcd first. For using „USE WITH EXTERNAL DMX-TRANSMIT-
TER" the unit needs to operate in "Slave" mode. Press MODE
button until the lcd shows „WiMode". Change to „Slave"
with the UP/DOWN buttons for the receiver mode.
• Now the unit needs to be set to one of the five DMXmodes.
Press MODE button until lcd shows „DMX1CH", „DMX2CH",
„DMX3CH", „DMX4CH" or „DMX8CH". Furthermore you
need to choose the corresponding DMXstart adress. Which
mode is the right one for you is up to the range of functions
you would like to use, the library and the channels of the
used DMXcontroller. Please read chapter DMX-MODE of this
manual to get an idea of which channels can be controlled in
which DMXmode.
• Up next there is a need for connection (pairing) of the unit
with external DMXtransmitter. Press CONNECT button on
DMXtransmitter shortly. The transmitter searches for all
available units and connects to them. The connection (pai
ring) is done and safed until it is released manually.
NOTE!
If a unit is not connecting to an external DMX-transmitter it
is already connected to another transmitter. In this case the
connection needs to be released manually. Press and hold CON-
NECT button on corresponding BattLED AT10.x for at least 3
seconds. After this please repeat the procedure for connection
(pairing) whilst pressing CONNECT button on DMX-transmitter
shortly again.
USE WITHOUT EXTERNAL DMX-TRANSMITTER
One BattLED AT10.x is in transmitter mode (master), all other
BattLED AT10.x are in receiver (slave) mode. The transmitter
(master) is transmitting all DMXdata to all receiver (slave) units.
All units in receiver (slave) mode act synchronized to the one
BattLED AT10.x in transmitter mode (master). All lcd settings
like color macro, programm, programm speed, color set will be
synchronized.
• To use BattLED AT10.x in wireless DMXmode it is important
to choose the corresponding transmitter/receiver mode from
the lcd first. For using „USE WITHOUT EXTERNAL DMX-
TRANSMITTER" one unit needs to operate in "Master" and all
others need to operate in "Slave" mode.
• For the transmitter (master) unit following settings need to
be done. Press MODE button until the lcd shows „WiMode".
Change to „Master" with the UP/DOWN buttons for the trans
mitter mode.
• For the receiver (slave) unit following settings need to be
done. Press MODE button until the lcd shows „WiMode".
Change to „Slave" with the UP/DOWN buttons for the re
ceiver mode. Now the unit needs to be set to the 4 channel
DMXmode. Press MODE button until lcd shows „DMX4CH".
Furthermore you need to choose DMXstart address 001 for
the synchronized control of all units.
• Up next there is a need for connection (pairing) of the unit
with BattLED AT10.x in transmitter mode (master). Press
CONNECT button on "master" BattLED AT10.x shortly. The
BattLED AT10.x/transmitter searches for all available units and
connects to them. The connection (pairing) is done and safed
until it is released manually.
