INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
After having removed the carton box and the upper wooden frame, take out the stove legs,
screws, ash shovel and poker from the stove. Remove the upper wooden frame, lay the stove
on one side on the spread-out carton box and fix the legs.
Interior requirements
If the room in which the Stove is to mounted has an easily inflammable or heat-sensitive floor,
the Stove should be placed on a non-burning surface sized to be larger than the Stove's plan
view: side and back 40 cm, front 60 cm.
Minimum distance from heat-sensitive materials on the side and back: 45 cm.
The heat-sensitive materials within the direct heat irradiation range in front of the Stove should
be spaced at least 120 cm.
The Stove should be placed on a horizontal surface and the room where it is mounted should be
sufficiently supplied with fresh air for combustion.
If an aspirator or another air consumer is installed in the room, a continuous supply of fresh air
should be provided through a special opening fitted with a grille that cannot be choked up.
Chimney connection
Recommended by us for chimney connection are standard flue gas pipes and bends with a
built-in flap. The internal diameter of the flue gas pipe: Ø118 mm.
The flue gas pipes (bends) should be fixed firm and airtight to the Stove's flue gas extension.
They should also be mutually joined firm and airtight and in the same manner connected to the
chimney. The flue gas pipe must not pass into the chimney's cross section.
In mounting the Stove please follow the national and European standards as well as the local
regulations applicable to this type of appliances.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
First firing
As the Stove is made of gray iron, account should be taken of that material's propensity to crack
under rapid or uneven heat loads. For that reason, use moderate flame when firing for the first
time. For setting fire use newspaper and dry wood splinters
The stove is not designed with grate and ash tray and the ash is removed by means of a scoop.
Ash need not be removed frequently if you use quality firewood.
The stoves designed without a grate and ash tray ensure long-lasting ember and the fire needs
not be extinguished except before ash removal. Start the fire with a small amount of crumpled
newspaper and dry kindling to achieve a moderate, evenly burning fire.
