SAFETY MEASURES

Carefully read these instructions before using
your hair clipper. Keep this instruction manu-
al during the whole operation period.

Use the unit for intended purposes only,
as specified in this instruction manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its break-
age and cause harm to the user or dam-
age to his/her property.
While connecting the power adapter to the
mains, make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage specified on
the adapter body.
Use only the attachments supplied.
Do not use the unit if the universal attach-
ments or the blades are damaged.
Make sure that the blades are clean and
that there is lubricating oil on them.
After each usage, clean the unit using the
brush supplied with the unit.
Do not leave the operating unit unattended.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
Never insert any foreign objects into the
unit body openings.
Switch the unit off during breaks in opera-
tion, when you are not using it or before
cleaning.
Do not put the operating unit on any sur-
face.
Do not use the hair clipper in places with
high humidity and temperature and while
taking a bath or a shower.

Do not use the hair clipper if the support
for storing/charging, the power adapter,
the plug or the cord are damaged. Do not
repair the unit by yourself; always apply to
the authorized service center.

Do not charge the unit in places with high
temperature. Do not charge the battery at
temperature below 0°C and above +40°C.
•
Do not place the adapter cord near hot
surfaces or open flame.
•
Never immerse the power adapter or the
cord of the adapter into water or other liq-
uids. Provide that moisture does not get
on the body of the power adapter.
•
Never immerse the hair clipper into water
or any other liquids.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags used as a packaging
unattended.
•
Do not allow children under 8 years of
age to touch the unit body, the power
cord or the power plug during operation
of the unit.
•
Do not leave children unattended
to prevent using the unit as a toy.
•
Close supervision is necessary when chil-
dren under 8 years of age or disabled per-
sons are near the operating unit.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by chil-
dren under 8 years of age.
•
Children whose age is 8 or over, as well
as disabled persons, may use this unit
only when supervised by a person who
ensures their safety and only upon receiv-
ing and understanding all necessary
instructions concerning safe usage of the
unit and concerning dangers that may
arise from an improper usage.
•
Attention! Do not let children play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film.

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not
disassemble the unit by yourself, if any
malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any
authorized service center from the con-
tact address list given in the warranty cer-
tificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
