GENERAL INFORMATION
"NUMA" is a Master keyboard that enables Midi and USB-Midi Musical Instruments and Accessories management.
"NUMA" employs the 88 key Fatar TP400 Keyboard.
It features the following sockets:
1 Midi-Out;
1 USB in USB-Midi and USB Virtual COM modes;
1 Pitch Wheel;
2 Jack Pedals in continuous, open switch and closed switch modes.
The Operating System can be updated by PC by means of serial USB Virtual COM communication employing the
Hyperterminal Windows software application. USB Virtual COM serial communication can also enable bidirectional
interaction with Windows Applications on PC.
Interaction with the user is carried out by a white 128x64 graphic LCD on blue background, 4 capacitive keys
associated in most of the functions to the 4 "Zones" (Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4), 4 capacitive arrows Left Arrow,
Right Arrow, Up Arrow and Down Arrow for navigating and a capacitive Dial for selecting Patches and Parameters
with software automatic speed adjustment.
The 4 "Zones" keys correspond to the 4 Zones into which "NUMA" is organized, to each of them correspond a midi
channel and all the main parameters of the same.
"NUMA" operates in 3 main ways:
Play Mode in which the user selects with Dial his pre-programmed patches and can perform fast important

adjustment such as enabling the zones, programchange, volume and transpose;
Edit Mode in which the user can access and modify all the patch parameters and the general settings of the

instrument (system page);
You Play (Self-learning) in which the user can realize personalized Dynamic Curves playing directly
•
on the keyboard.
It is possible to pass from Play Mode to Edit Mode and vice versa pressing at the same time the Left Arrow key and Right
Arrow key. You can access You Play mode pressing at the same time Zone 1 and Zone 2 keys.
