• For use in bedroom turn on the MicroInsectivoro at dusk, keeping shutters or blinds closed, and the
device on a chair or on the night table with its back, from which air comes out, towards you.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Before cleaning make sure that the MicroInsectivoro is disconnected from the wall socket.
Use a wet cloth to clean MicroInsectivoro. Never dip it in the water.
Before switching off the unit or before removing the filter or opening the drawer, make
sure there are no dangerous insects still alive inside. In this case, keep the unit powered
ON until they die.
Should you trap useful insects pull out the drawer, place it outdoors on the filter side in such
a way the door L opens and lets the insect fly away.
MicroInsectivoro captures insects and traps them in the drawer, where they will be dried by the airflow.
This unit is equipped with a removable F filter to trap insects and dust. Keep the filter clean. Pull out and wash
the filter with running water every 5~6 days or more if MicroInsectivoro is installed in dusty areas.
Empty and clean out the drawer every 2~3 days or more if MicroInsectivoro works in insect infected areas.
The drawer filter H can be cleaned following the same previous procedures. MicroInsectivoro is equipped
with a patented drawer that shuts when the unit is OFF , and opens when is ON.
REPLACING FLUORESCENT BULBS
• For maximum efficiency replace the bulbs every 5000 hours. To achieve maximum performance, use
MO-EL original 7W bulbs only.
• For any questions or concerns regarding bulb replacements, please call your dealer.
• Before attempting to change bulbs, please make sure that the unit is unplugged and the switch in the
"OFF" position.
1. Remove the posterior part M of the appliance.
2. Unscrew the 3 screws N.
3. Take the front part Q away from the body of the appliance.
4. Remove the lamp O up from its casing.
5. Slip the ring P off from the old lamp, and slip it into the new.
6. Put the new lamp into the appliance.
7 . Screw the screws N, paying attention that the wires be inside the appliance.
ORDERING REPLACEMENT BULBS
• The florescent ultraviolet bulbs in your MicroInsectivoro have been designed for maximum attraction to
flying insects. Do not replace original Ultraviolet fluorescent bulbs with normal lighting bulbs, the wave's
length being different, wil be ineffective in attracting the insects.
• Original replacement bulbs are available from your Dealer.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

• If you have questions regarding your MicroInsectivoro call your Dealer. In case of breakdown, malfunc-
tion or damage turn the device off and take or send it to the nearest Assistance Center.
• Repairs must be done by an authorized Technical Assistance Center using original parts.
