IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using your appliance, read carefully the instructions contained in this booklet, which furnish important
information regarding installation, use and maintenance safety. The booklet must be keeped and delivered to
the new user in case of cession of the machine.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to vary the features of the product without prior notice. The technical
data are merely indicative.
1. This device is intended exclusively for the use for which it was created, that is the destruction of the
flying insects, and the Producer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use.
2. Remove all packing materials from the unit, to avoid danger of suffocation, keep it away from babies
and kids.
3. Do not use if unit is damaged.
4. Do not use if the unit is wet.
5. Do not use if cord or plug is damaged.
6. If the power supply cord is damaged avoid to use it. Let the Manufacturer, or the After Sale Service, or
some similar qualified person replace it, in order to avoid any risk.
7 . Keep cord away from heat.
8. Never expose to rain, do not forget it outside and do not expose in dirty rooms.
9. Unplug the unit when not in use.
10. Always keep the appliance in vertical position.
11. Be sure there is space around the unit for air to circulate.
12. Before inserting the plug make sure that the voltage is the same as indicated on the plate located on
the external adapter.
13. The appliance is not suited for persons (as well as children) physically, mentally, sensory disabled, or with
no experience, unless they have been supervised or directed by someone responsible of their safety.
14. Do not let the children play with the appliance.
INSTRUCTIONS
Model with battery
If we want to use MicroInsectivoro with the power of its internal battery, we need to turn the switch A on
the "BATT" position and the switch B on the "ON" position. The lamp lights and the fan runs. The length of
the battery is approximately 4 hours. To put the appliance off, just turn the switch B in the "OFF/CHARGE"
position.
We can also connect the appliance to the home power supply by the external adapter C. The cables C ends
with a connector that can be inserted in the socket G on the appliance. To put the appliance on, you need
to turn the switch A on the "ADAPTER" position and the switch B on the "ON" position. If the switch B is
on the "OFF/CHARGE" position, the appliance turns off and the battery charges. A complete battery charge
requests approximately 10 hours.
Since the internal battfry discharges if not used for a long period, it is recommended to
charge it completely at least every 6 months.
Model without battery
The appliance works connecting it to the home power supply through the external adapter C. The cable C
ends with a connector that can be inserted in the socket G on the appliance. To put on the appliance, you
need to turn the switch A in the "1" position.
INDOORS SUGGESTED USE
• Turn on the MicroInsectivoro as early as spring or as soon as the first troublesome insects appear.
• Preferably position the MicroInsectivoro at a height of about 2 meters, placing it in the darkest area of
the room, far from windows if mounted permanently.
• Keep it at some distance from people rooms, but not beyond its effective range (4~5 m).
