WARNING:
Please observe the following safety instructions by all means!
• First check if the spare wheel is attached correctly to your vehicle and make sure that
you are allowed to attach an additional charge of about 35 kg to it (if necessary have an
extra reinforcing element fastened at this place from the inside) before mounting the
bicycle rack.
• If the spare wheel is not mounted in the middle of your car's rear end you have to keep
this in mind when mounting the bicycle rack (see the instructions).
• Always check regularly if the bicycle rack is still mounted firmly on the spare
wheel (if necessary retighten the belts) before you start and in between and check
if the bicycles are placed firmly on the rack. This will allow you to notice possible
damages of the fastening elements at an early stage and to repair them in time.
• Please remove the spare wheel's cover before mounting the rack, because you
should never attach it to this covering.
• When you have charged the rack, you should fasten the safety belt to it.
• The charge should not stick out for more than 400 mm over the side of the car's
rear lighting.
• Please observe the maximum allowable axle load.
• See to it that the lighting is never mounted lower than the spare wheel of the
vehicle.
• Neither the bicycle rack nor the bicycles themselves should cover the rear lighting
or the licence plate number of your car.
• Adapt your manner of driving (your speed, etc.) to the changed conditions while
transporting the bicycles.
• Do not cover your bicycles with a tarpaulin when transporting them.
• Remove all parts that can be lost easily – like the bicycle tire inflator, baskets, or the bell
– before starting.
• Avoid braking, accelerating, or steering jerkily.
• If you want to replace a part, only use original replacement parts for this.
Please observe these mounting instructions strictly to assure a proper and safe mounting of
your bicycle rack. If you are in doubt about these instructions, please ask the retailer or the
manufacturer himself for additional information.
To assure your own safety, you should check the bicycle rack and its charge regularly, because
the road traffic regulations oblige you to do so. Apart from that you can be held responsible in
the event of damage.
Neither the manufacturer nor the retailer are liable for damage to property or personal
injury as a result of inappropriate mounting or improper use of this bicycle rack.
This product has been checked and tested under extreme conditions as well, and it has yielded
good results as to safety and stability. Thus we can rule out any possible malfunction if the
