8. Placing the garden pump

• For example, the garden pump can be installed and operated near a well on your property or a rainwater cistern.
• Carry or transport the garden pump only using the carrying handle (8). Never carry it using the hose or the mains
cord.
The garden pump must never be held or transported by the mains cable or any of the hoses! Otherwise the
mains cable may get damaged, risk of an electric shock!
• Place the garden pump on a flat, level, stable, sufficiently large surface. Protect sensitive surfaces against
scratches, pressure marks and possibly water leakage using a suitable pad.
• The garden pump must always be operated standing on the underside, but never in other operating conditions.
