General information
All the mechanism control functions and special functi-
ons of the CD player can be remote-controlled.
To be able to remote-control the CD player the F1 re-
mote control handset must be set to Hi-Fi operation, and
the CD player must be selected as the listening source.
The handset only controls the currently selected listening
source.
The drawing above shows a number of buttons marked
 ', and these are the ones which are used to
'  
control the CD player. None of the other buttons have
any effect on the CD player.

Switching the F1 handset to Hi-Fi mode
Press the left-hand end of the 

button repeatedly until the LED lights up over
'HiFi'.

Selecting CD as listening source

Selects the CD player as the current listening
   
source. All remote-control commands are
now passed to the CD player.
