Problem

Probable cause(s)
• No battery installed or battery not installed
correctly
• Empty battery
• Igniter button not assembled correctly
• Faulty spark generator
• Faulty ground
• Burner and electrode too far apart
• Faulty wiring
• Faulty ground
• Low battery
• Wet or broken electrodes

Solution(s)
• (Re)install battery, with terminals positioned
correctly
• Replace battery
• Re-assemble igniter button
• Replace spark generator
• Reconnect spark generator and electrodes
• Slightly bend electrode to bring it closer to the
burner
• Replace wiring
• Reconnect spark generator and electrodes
• Replace battery
• Dry electrodes with paper towels or replace
electrodes
