The "Quick freezing" mode will automatically
shut off after 6 or 48 hours, depending on the
duration set. The appliance will then automat-
ically return to the previously set temperature
(see "Setting the duration of the "Quick freez-
ing" mode" on page EN-16).
After 2.5 hours, the appliance will automati-
cally exit the "Quick refrigerating" mode and
return to the previously set fridge tempera-
ture.
You can also end "Quick freezing" and "Quick
refrigerating" manually at any time.

Quick freezing

The SUPER FRZ. mode ("Quick freezing")
enables you to pre-chill the freezer before
storing frozen food or freezing fresh food.

1. Unlock the control panel.(see "Lock-
ing/unlocking the control panel" on
page EN-13).
2. Press the MODE button

appears on the display.
The (27) display-indicator shows the tem-
perature setting −24 °C for the freezer. The
freezer will cool down to -24°C.
– Once the freezer temperature reaches
-18°C (check with a fridge/freezer ther-
mometer), you can store frozen food in
the freezer.
– Once the freezer temperature reaches
-22°C, you can store fresh food in the
freezer. The temperature in the freezer
rises temporarily.

At the end of the set duration, the appliance
will exit the SUPER FRZ. mode and return to
the previously set temperature (see "Setting
the duration of the "Quick freezing" mode" on
page EN-16).
Another way to switch off "Quick freez-
ing" is to press the FRZ.TEMP. button
(24) to adjust the temperature.
Setting the duration of the "Quick
freezing" mode
The appliance enables you to set how long
the SUPER FRZ. ("Quick freezing") mode
stays active.
Switching on
1. Press the MODE button
until the SUPER FRZ. indicator appears
on the display. The (27) display-indicator
shows the temperature setting −24 °C for
the freezer.

2. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button for 3 sec-
onds. (24). The number "6" will appear
on the display. The SUPER FRZ. indica-
tor (21) will flash. The indicator shows the
duration of the function. The appliance is
set to SUPER FRZ. mode for 6 hours.
