• Press the LOCK/UNLOCK button
for 3 seconds.
The indicator will go out and a tone will
sound. The control panel buttons are now
released.

A tone will sound and the indicator
appear on the display.
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds,
the control panel will lock automatically.

Setting the temperature

WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer.
Always abide by the prescribed ambi-
■
ent temperature (see 'Climate cate-
gories' on page EN-39).
Using the FRZ.TEMP. button (24) and REF.
TEMP. button (25), you can set the tempera-
ture in the freezer and the fridge independent-
ly of one another.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.
The appliance is checked for function-
ality before being delivered. The most
recently made settings are retained. If
the appliance was switched into "holiday
mode" during the functional test, the fridge
will also be switched off upon being plugged
in for the first time.
