9a. This machine must not be used if they are faulty. If foam
or liquid comes out of the machine, switch off the
machine immediately by disconnecting the main switch
installed prior to the machine or remove the plug from the
current socket. Never use the on/off switch on the
machine.
10. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not the cord.
12. When repairing or replacing the cord, the same type of
cord as originally supplied with the machine must be
used. This cord can be supplied by Nilfisk-Advance.
13. The plug must always be removed from the socket outlet
before starting any service work of the machine or the
cord.
14. Repair of the electrical parts e.g. motor or the cord must
only be carried out by a skilled or instructed person after
having disconnected the main switch installed prior to the
machine or after having removed the plug from the current
socket.
15. No changes or modifications to the mechanical or
electrical safety devices should be made.
16. The maximum airborne noise (sound pressure level) is
below 68 dB(A)/20µPa for ID 2050
Instructions for use
Before using the machine make sure that the frequency and
voltage shown on the rating plate corresponds with the mains
voltage.
Specifications and details are subject to change without prior
notice.
UNPACKING
When the machine and accessory is delivered, carefully
inspect the shipping cartons and the machine/accessory for
damage. If damage is evident, save the shipping carton so
that the carrier that delivered it can inspect it. Contact the
carrier immediately to file a freight damage claim.

nameplate on the machine. This information is needed when
ordering repair parts for the machine. Use the space below to

MACHINE ASSEMBLY

! After unpacking the machine, lock the lever on the front
wheels (10) by pressing them downwards.
@ Place the motor-head (2) onto the pre-mounted separator
unit with the locking ring marked B and position it with the
ON/OFF buttons pointing ahead, place the locking ring
marked B and lock them together by closing the handle A.
Fix the cord release (15) to the cord, wind-up the cord and
place it on the hanger (14) on the handle. The waste container
(6) is pre-mounted on the trolley with the latch (8) locked to
the waste container (6) to make sure it stays firmly on the
trolley (7) during operation.
Install the accessories packed separately.
# Hoses Ø 50
Insert the hose bayonet coupling in the suction inlet (4 / 4A) on
the separator unit and lock it in place by turning it clockwise.
$ Steel tubes Ø 50 mm
Unscrew the locking ring at the end of the tubes counter
clockwise. Assemble the steel tube with the curved tube by
turning the locking ring at the end clockwise until it grips.
Assemble the steel tube with the nozzle by pressing and
twisting the steel tube in the nozzle.
# Hoses Ø 38 mm with Ø 50 mm coupling
Insert the bayonet coupling in the suction inlet (4 / 4A) on the
separator unit and lock it in place by turning it clockwise.
# Standard Ø 38 mm hose
Insert the standard Ø 38 mm bayonet coupling into the
reducer and coupling piece and lock them in place by turning
them clockwise.
% Steel tubes Ø 38 mm
Assemble steel tubes with steel tubes and steel tubes with
nozzles by pressing and twisting the steel tube into the nozzle.
Nozzle for dry pick-up for Ø 38 mm and Ø 50 mm
Adjustment of rubber blades or brushes.
The distance of the rubber blades from the floor should be
about 1 mm, and the adjustment is made by means of the two
finger screws if available.
Replacement set of rubber blades in oil resistance material is
available.
OPERATING
When the accessory is mounted, place the machine near the
place of use, release the cord from the hanger for cord(8) and
unwind the cord.
On/off to start and stop each of the motors

Plug the cord into the wall socket.
To start each of the motors push one of the buttons(1) at a
time. The green light will indicate that the line voltage is
present at the machine. To ensure maximum suction power all
motors must run simultaneously. The motors should always be
switched on and off individually. To stop each of the motors
press one of the buttons(1).
For lower suction power, only one of the motors can run at a
time.
Never try to start the machine if it is faulty.
Thermal cut-out protection (All models)
The vacuum motor is provided with a thermal cut-out
protection mechanism to protect the materials if the primary
air is blocked.
Remove the cause of the blockage to allow free air passage.
When the motor is cool, it will automatically start again.
