10.1.h - Configuring the battery
charger (Fig. 23)
WARNING:
The machine leaves production with a
standard configuration for operation with
"Sonnenschein" gel batteries.
- Remove the cover (1) by unscrewing the
screws (2).
Standard configuration with Sonnen-
schein gel batteries
- Check that the jumper (3) is assembled
as shown in figure "D".
- Remove the cap (4) located under the
batter charger (5).
- Position the switches (DP1 and DP2) as
shown in figure "A".
It is possible to modify the configuration as
follows:
Configuration for gel batteries which are
not Sonnenschein version
- Check that the jumper (3) is assembled
as shown in figure "D".
- Remove the cap (4) located under the
battery charger (5).
- Position the switches (DP1 and DP2) as
shown in figure "B".
Configuration for acid batteries
- Remove the jumper (3) and position it as
shown in figure "E".
- Remove the cap (4) located under the
battery charger (5).
- Position the switches (DP1 and DP2) as
shown in figure "C".
