Factory default (220 V to 240 V model for Asia/Europe): ON
If no control activity occurs for 3 hours, the power switches automatically to Standby, even if the unit is currently
playing.
Factory default (120 V model for U.S.A.): OFF
5.
Output settings
The main unit's output status can be set manually. Pressing the +/− buttons cause the setting to alternate as follows:
All output (default)
Output from connectors 1 and 3
Output from connectors 2 and 4
6.
All reset
To reset all settings to factory defaults, place the unit in Standby mode, then press the MENU button while holding the
MUTE button depressed. The Auto power-down mode turns OFF.

Linking multiple Pre-Amplifiers

Using a commercially available
the SLAVE IN jack on another Pre-Amplifier, in this way allowing linkage of the input select and sound volume controls of two or
more Pre-Amplifiers.
Using this function, the TAD-C600 can be combined with a monaural power amplifier for the ultimate in stereo presence.
Further, by using the units as 4-channel (or more) Pre-Amplifiers, you can enjoy multichannel playback.
Note that the devices connected to the unit connected to the SLAVE IN jack will function in the SLAVE mode.
SLAVE mode operations
' When in the SLAVE mode, the display will appear as follows:
' When the SLAVE mode is enabled, the following functions can
be set via the main unit's keys:
• L-R balance setting, input level setting, PASS through setting,
auto power-down mode, output settings
' When the SLAVE mode is enabled, operations are performed
from devices on the MASTER side to devices on the SLAVE side.
When using the remote control to operate a device, it should be
pointed at the device on the MASTER side.
' When the SLAVE mode is enabled, the power off, sound volume
adjustment, input select, mute, display (DISP), and auto power
down functions are performed on the MASTER side device;
operations cannot be performed from devices on the SLAVE side.
Note
' When a stereo mini-cable is used to connect the main unit's MASTER OUT jack to the 12 V trigger input connector on a
TAD-M4300 or TAD-M2500, operating the main unit's ON/Standby key will activate the same operation on the connected
TAD-M4300 or TAD-M2500. Be sure to use the proper stereo mini-cable, since use of a monaural mini-cable will cause the
generation of noise.
' Since the TAD-C600 has a 5 V trigger output voltage, ON/Standby operation described above cannot be guaranteed when the
unit is connected to a device with 12 V trigger input, other than the TAD-M4300 or TAD-M2500.
' It is possible to connect two or more Pre-Amplifiers in cascade style, but some operating delay may occur when three or
more are connected in that way.
