Compare the Parrot ASTEROID Smart antenna
connector to the antenna connector of your
vehicle. If an adapter is necessary, contact
your local car audio specialist.
Note : Make sure you also supply power to your
antenna if it is amplified. Power to the antenna
can be supplied using the Parrot ASTEROID
Smart ISO cable.
Installation using the holder
1. Loosen the 4 screw s to remove the Parrot
ASTEROID Smart holder.
2. Insert the holder into the dashboard. To do
so, bend the tabs 90 degrees (diagram B
p.8).
3. If necessary, install the fitting screw at the
back of the car stereo.
4. Install the Parrot ASTEROID Smart and
fasten the screw s (diagram C p.8).
5. Attach the trim ring (diagram D p.9).
Installation using the side screw holes
1. Loosen the 4 screw s to remove the
Parrot ASTEROID Smart holder.
2. Remove the tw o side brackets (diagram
E p.9).
3. Position the Parrot ASTEROID Smart so
that its screw holes are aligned w ith the
screw holes of the bracket.
4. Tighten as many screw s as necessary
depending on the model of your vehicle.
Only use the provided screw s.
Installing the GPS antenna
Stick the GPS Antenna in an unobstructed
area.
Athermic w indshields and w indow s w ith a
built-in antenna can interfere w ith GPS
reception and reduce the
information from navigation applications.
The GPS Dongle antenna is located
on the side
ASTEROID GPS" is w ritten and
w here the star-shaped logo is.
If your vehicle has an athermic w indshield,
stick the GPS dongle on the w indshield near
the rear view mirror. The side w here "Parrot
ASTEROID GPS" is w ritten and w here the
star-shaped logo is must be stuck on the
w indshield. The side w here "Parrot" is w ritten
must be visible from the inside of your vehicle
(diagram G p.10).
If your vehicle does not have an athermic
w indshield, stick the GPS dongle on the

must be stuck on the dashboard. The side
w here "Parrot ASTEROID GPS" is w ritten and
w here the star-shaped logo is must be visible
(diagram F p.10).
To make sure the adhesive tape adheres
w ell :
clean the area w ith an appropriate
reliability of
cleaning product before sticking the
support ;
once you have stuck the support on the
w here "Parrot
dashboard, w ait for approximately 2
hours w ithout handling it.
