The microtiter plate is inserted manually into the slot of the device. There is a lock at the
bottom of the slot and an arrow for visual inspection that is visible if the microtiter plate is
inserted completely.

On the back of the RIDA ABSORBANCE 96 is a USB plug for connecting the instrument to a
computer using the included Micro-USB cable. Furthermore, there is an eject button for
pushing the microtiter plate out of the slot.
