EN-8 SD SERIES BENCH SCALE
Calibration
For best results, calbrate the scale at regular ntervals. (Calbraton weghts are not
suppled wth the scale.)
1. Allow the scale to warm up and stablze for a least two mnutes before
commencng the calbraton procedure.
2. To select the weghng unt to be used for calbraton, press the UNITS Cal
button untl the correct unt s dsplayed.
NOTE: The calbraton process can be stopped at any tme by pressng the
UNITS Cal button or by turnng the scale off. The correct span calbraton
weghts wll need to be avalable before startng the calbraton (see
specfcaton table). Calbraton s unavalable n Dynamc Weghng Mode.
3. Press and hold the UNITS Cal button untl "CAL" s dsplayed.
4. Wth the platform empty, press the ON/ZERO Off button to
capture the scale zero. The dsplay wll show "-C-"
USE EXTREME CARE WHEN HANDLING CALIBRATION WEIGHTS
AS THEY ARE VERY HEAVY. IMPROPER LIFTING METHODS OR
MISUSE OF CALIBRATION WEIGHTS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL
INJURY. MULTIPLE WEIGHTS MAY BE USED TO EQUAL THE
REQUIRED CALIBRATION WEIGHT.
