exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of warmth.

Assembly Instructions

3.2.1

Unpacking and assembling

Install the control panel after unpacking the unit. In order to do so, insert the two tabs on the back of
the control panel into the handle bar pipe and press them downward to their stop. The control panel
can be mounted with the operator's side facing the front or the rider. The operator's side should usu-
ally face the front so that the display can be seen by the person operating the machine.
Connect the potential equalisation cable to the flat plug at the back of the control panel.
Connect the main plug with the connecting socket. Fasten the rear cover with 4 screws.
Screw the handle bars on with a hex socket screw. Make sure that the slit created by screwing the
pieces together is the same width at the bottom as at the top due to the clamping action. Screw in the
clamp grip and fix the handle bars into place. Adjust the clamp grip so that it is facing downward.
Pull the saddle and handle bar column to normal height, adjust the clamp lever downwards after fixing
the saddle and handle bar column in place.
With the help of the base adjustor on the rear lower side of the ergometer, adjust the device so that
there is no gap between it and the floor. The ergometer is then fully stabilised.
3.2.2

Adjusting the saddle and handle bars

Both the saddle and handle bars can be infinitely moved upward or downward for optimum exercise
position. They can be adjusted for persons of 120 cm to 210 cm in height.
T-handles that protrude from under both the handle support and saddle pipe are used for adjustment.
After loosening the respective T-handle, the handle bars and saddle rod can be moved up or down to
the desired height. Tighten the T-handles again after the adjustment.
The saddle clamp is designed for patients weighing up to 160 kilograms. To attain optimal clamping
action, only apply moderate strength when tightening the T-handles. It is recommendable to adjust
the T-handles in clamped position with their underside positioned vertically downward. This is achie-
ved by pulling the T-handle out of its lock-in position and then turning it until the lever is in the cor-
rect position. Secure clamping is ensured when the lever is once again turned to this position during
the next adjustment procedure.
A clamping grip can also be used to adjust the ergonomically designed handle bars horizontally until
an optimal sitting position has been attained.
