11. Troubleshooting

Fault
Product does not switch on.
Product is on but does not pump
water.
Insufficient pumping capacity.
Battery does not charge.

12. Care and cleaning

Remove the battery before making any adjustment or cleaning.
• Use a soft clean cloth to clean the outer surface of the product. If necessary rinse the outer surface with clear
water.
• Clean the filter cage once a month or if the pumping capacity is heavily reduced.
• Cleaning the pump:
- Turning the filter cage counter-clockwise to remove the dirt filter.
- Clean the pump under running water using a soft brush.
- Remove any dirt on the impeller through the openings.
Cause
Battery empty.
Battery not fully inserted.
Product is switched off.
Dirt filter is blocked.
Stop cock valve is closed.
Pump unit is not fully submerged
in water.
Excessive loss in the lines.
Dirt filter is blocked.
Battery charger is faulty.
Socket-outlet not switched on.
Battery is not making contact.
Solution
Check the power supply, then
charge the battery.
Insert the battery into the battery
compartment until the battery clicks
into place audibly.
Press the On/Off switch to "I"
position.
Clean the dirt filter.
Open the stop cock valve.
Submerge the pump unit until
completely in water.
Reduce attached hose length.
Do not use any unnecessary con-
nection components.
Clean the dirt filter.
Replace battery charger.
Switch on socket-outlet.
Check the charger is connected to
the battery socket correctly.
