Searchzone Sonik functionality can be verified using the Searchzone Sonik Test Unit (optional) in
combination with the Mobile App.
CAUTION
While operating the Searchzone Sonik Test Tool, ultrasound is generated. Do NOT aim the tool towards
your or anyone else's body or head.
The Searchzone Sonik Test Unit generates two different test signals to check detector's functionality:
1) the first test signal is recognized by detector as a gas leak. It is reported through change in detector's
LED ring status indicator. The test is automatically logged.
2) the second test signal is used for end-to-end testing. It is reported through detector's LED ring status
indicator, Relays and through 4-20 mA loop to indicate alarm condition. The test is automatically logged.
