4. Select the ideal temperature for your type of hair
by pressing the temperature selector We recommend
using lower temperatures for very fine, damaged or
dyed hair and higher temperatures for curly, thick or
unmanageable hair.
5. Create a straight or wavy style.
6. When you have finished using the straightener,
press the ON/OFF switch.
7. Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until
it has cooled before storing.
8. Clean the appliance
To straighten (Fig. 2)
1. Take a lock of hair (approximately 5 cm wide) and
place it between the plates. Close them and slide the
straightener down the lock of hair from the roots to
the tips.
2. Repeat this operation until all your hair is comple-
tely straight.
- For best results, we recommend you begin with the
lower layers of hair and continue with the top layers.
To curl (Fig. 3)
- For a wavy or straight look separate vertical locks
so the curls fall more naturally.
- Locks should be very thick for a large, wavy type
of curl, or they should be thinner for a small and
romantic curl.
Wrap each lock of hair around the straightener using
a circular motion (as through it were a round brush)
to get a wave and ringlet-shaped lock.
Wrap the hair around as you slide the straightener
downwards.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is
unplugged from the mains.
- Only clean the appliance when it is cold.
- Make sure the plates are cool before cleaning the
appliance.
- Clean the surface of the straightener with a dry
cloth.
- Clean the plates with a damp cloth and then dry
them.
- Do not use abrasive products for cleaning.
- Never immerse the main body in water or any other
liquid, or put it in the dishwasher. - The appliance
should not come into contact with water during
cleaning. Avoid splashing water on the appliance or
the power cord.
Carry out the maintenance operations indicated in
the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section to
prolong the life of the appliance.

Anomalies and repair
- Do not modify or repair the appliance. In the event
of any anomaly in the appliance, do not use it and
take it to an authorised assistance service.
- Do not use parts or accessories that are not
supplied or recommended by TAURUS.
ATTENTION!!: When you wish to dispose
of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the
rubbish. Instead, go your nearest CLEAN
POINT or waste collection point,
where it will receive subsequent
treatment. You will thus be helping to take
care of the environment.
