Regulating Cut Height - GOLDONI 31 Bedienung Und Instandhaltung

For Series Super Special and Special Lux rotary cultivators.
To use the lawn mower with these rotary cultivators does not require and special
coupling devices as it is supplied c/w a sleeve to couple to the rotary cultivator.
Just connect the lawn mower to the machine and fix it with the special tierods in the
standard accessory kit. Don't forget -- turn off the engine.

3.2 REGULATING CUT HEIGHT

Before beginning, position the cutting blade at the required height, from 30 to 130
mm, and make sure the plate is parallel with the ground.
Follow these steps to do this:
− Pull out the springs n.1 fig.2 (one for each wheel).
− Set the blade at the right height.
− Insert the springs n.1 in holes n.2 as close as possible to the position required.
− Set the plate parallel to the ground by slackening off locknuts n.3 and adjust with
registration nut n.4
CAUTION!
The lawn mower blade is mounted on a special kick-back clutch to allow it to slip if
it hits against anything or if it is under excessive strain. This protects all the moving
parts of the machine.
IMPORTANT!
The sleeve connecting the lawn mower to the rotary cultivator permits movement in
only one direction. This eliminates the problem caused by blade inertial force
which, were the blade to continue to revolve would move the machine forward even
if the clutch were disengaged.
DANGER!
Keep away from the blade until it has come to a complete stop.
DANGER
Keep away from the blade and do not perform any kind of work on it
until it has come to a complete stop.
When working, keep bystanders, animals and other objects that could be hit by
stones thrown out by the lawn mower, well out of its working range.
