Model identification data are stamped on the cover as shown in fig. 1.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 COUPLING THE LAWN MOWER

Model 31 Lawn Mower is available in two different versions:
− for Series Uno, Jolly rotary cultivators, Series FC Eco and Professional motor
mowers with both a quick couple or fixed hitch.
− for Series Super Special and Special Lux rotary cultivators with a fixed position
hitch only.

3.1.1 Coupling with the quick couple

Mounted on Series Uno and Jolly rotary cultivators and Series FC Eco and
Professional motor mowers.
To attach the lawn mower to these machines, order the optional quick couple
flange.
Insert the sleeve n.2 into the lawn mower shaft (fig.4), tighten the grub screw n.7 on
the sleeve accessed by removing the rubber cover on the lawn mower casing.
Put the grubscrew lock spring n.6, in its seating and mount the flange n.1 on the
lawn mower. Use washers n.3 and tighten home nuts n.4
Lastly, replace the rubber cover in the casing.
Connect the lawn mower to the machine with the engine off.

3.1.2 Coupling with a fixed hitch

For Series Uno, Jolly rotary cultivators, Series FC Eco and Professional
motor mowers.
To attach the lawn mower to these machines, order the optional fixed hitch flange.
Insert the sleeve n.5 into the lawn mower shaft (fig.5); tighten the grub screw n.6 on
the sleeve accessed by removing the rubber cover on the lawn mower casing.
Put the grubscrew lock spring n.7, in its seating and replace the rubber cover.
Connect the lawn mower to the machine land fix it with the studs and nuts on the
machine. Don't forget -- the engine must be turned off.
