All of the provided user information is orient-
ed to the responsible vehicle driver/owner.

Please read all user information carefully
before installing and using the product.
Please keep all user information and the
ECE type approval in the vehicle, and pass
them on in the event of a change of own-
ership. Subject to design, configuration and
colour changes and also errors. The illustra-
tions are non-binding .
Information about installation can be found
in the provided installation manual (part B).

Use for intended purpose
The rear carrier system / accessories in the
GENIO series are suitable for fitting to the
trailer equipment of passenger vehicles.
The rear carrier system / accessories are
exclusively intended for transporting bicy-
cles. Any other use is regarded as incorrect.
The rear carrier system / accessories

must only be attached as described in the
installation manual.
The maximum weight per bicycle speci-

fied in the installation manual (part B) for
loading must not be exceeded.
The biggest and heaviest bicycle must be
Z
closest to the vehicle, and the lighter ones
on the outside.
The rear carrier is designed for fitting to
Z
tow balls made from St 52-3 or materials
that are at least of equivalent strength.
Only use original accessories and original
Z
spare parts.
Pay attention to the maximum load of the
Z
rear carrier system / accessories depend-
ing on the maximum support load of the
trailer hitch, see also the installation man-
ual (part B).
The rear carrier has ECE type approval.
This rear carrier can be fitted to your vehi-
cle without an additional TÜV inspection if
the regulations and instructions of the ECE
type approval (particularly concerning the
support load) are fulfilled / observed (see
supplementary sheet for approval number).
In the event of incorrect installation that de-
viates from the user information, incorrect
handling or failure to use the equipment for
its intended purpose, all manufacturer war-
ranty and guarantee claims shall be inval-
idated .
Foreseeable misuse
•
The rear carrier system / accessories is
not designed for installation by children or
adolescents.
