Damage due to increased wind loads or

Remove parts of the load which are eas-

ily lost before setting off (e.g. bike pump,
child seat, baskets, locks).
Damage cause by hot exhaust
Hot exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe of
the vehicle can cause damage to bicycles
and the rear carrier system / accessories.
Ensure that there is sufficient clearance

between the rear carrier system, the bicy-
cles and the exhaust pipe.
Damage caused by automatic tailgate
opening system
An automatic boot or tailgate opening sys-
tem can cause damage to the vehicle and
the rear carrier system.
Deactivate the automatic opening system
Z
with the rear carrier system attached.
Open the boot manually.

Warranty and guarantee
Atera guarantees to the end customer that
the original Atera rear carrier system / ac-
cessories are free from material or work-
manship defects. The guarantee is from
three years of purchasing the product from
the dealer (date of purchase receipt). The
customer must report any product defects
to Atera or the vendor (dealer) in writing
within the guarantee period. The customer
must hand over / send the product that is
the subject of the complaint to the vendor
(dealer) or Atera free of charge. The original
invoice containing the purchase date must
be enclosed. If the complaint is justified,
Atera shall be entitled to decide whether to
repair the defect that has been reported or
deliver a new rear carrier system / accesso-
ries. The repaired or replaced rear carrier
system / accessories will be sent to the cus-
tomer free of charge. This guarantee applies
to the extent described above and under the
above-mentioned prerequisites (including
the presentation of proof of purchase, also
in the case of resale) to every subsequent
future owner of the product. The contractual
or statutory rights of the customer vis-a-vis
the respective vendor are not affected by
this guarantee. The guarantee is subject to
the laws of the Federal Republic of Germa-
ny.

fects must be reported to the dealer im-
mediately.
