• P lease keep these instructions for future reference. If the
appliance is passed to another person, this instruction

• B efore inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that
the mains supply voltage and current rating corresponds
with the power supply details shown on the appliance model
label.
• N ever allow the base or the kettle to make contact with or be
immersed in water. However, should this happen, have the
unit examined by a qualified service centre before using it
again.
• I n order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid
hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out
by qualified personnel, including the replacement of the
power cord.
I f repairs are needed, please send the appliance to our
customer service department.
• D o not operate the appliance if

• A lways remove the plug from the wall socket

• D o not position the appliance or power cord on or near hot
surfaces (such as oven plates) or near open flames.
• D o not expose the appliance to rain or moisture and do not
operate the appliance outdoors or with wet hands.
• U se only clean cold water, and let the water run for approx
two minutes before filling.
• T he appliance operates at very high temperatures, Caution:
there is danger of scalding form escaping water or steam.
Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle when
the appliance is in use and ensure that the lid is properly
closed
• T his appliance is designed for heating water only. Never put
any other liquid into the kettle.
• W hen using the appliance, always pay attention to the
water level marking on the outside of the kettle. Do not let
the water level drop below the minimum level and do not
exceed the maximum level.
• A lways place the appliance on a firm and level surface.
• I f electric kettle is not water. Please dot open "0/1" switch.
• I f the supply cord is damaged, is must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard
• T his appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected

OPERATION GUIDELINES
Before using for the first time
• P rior to initial use, clean it by going through several boiling
cycles, using clean water with each cycle and filling the
kettle to its upper marking. The water will reach boiling
point after approximately 5 minutes, when the unit switches
off automatically.
Operation
• P lace the heating base on a firm and level surface.
• P our the desired amount of clean water into the kettle. Do
not touch any part of the kettle except the handle when the
appliance is in use, and ensure that the lid is properly closed.
